Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.72% to hit a new 6-months high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH), which rose 3.35% or 6.7 points to trade at 206.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 2.48% or 3.2 points to end at 132.3 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.22% or 6.20 points to 513.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 2.45% or 7.9 points to trade at 315.0 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 1.28% or 10.6 points to end at 817.0 and Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) was down 0.19% or 0.3 points to 160.3.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 50 and 19 ended unchanged.

Shares in Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.22% or 6.20 to 513.60.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.50% or 0.29 to $58.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.52% or 0.35 to hit $67.20 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.96% or 12.60 to trade at $1296.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.26% to 6.6035, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4625.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 96.757.
